Sketching a drop-in network sensor

The idea: a small, headless box you plug into a switch port at a remote site. It runs Proxmox, dials home over Tailscale, and reports what’s on the network — devices nobody recognizes, Wi-Fi that shouldn’t be there, and anything that tries to poke the sensor itself.

Hardware is a Beelink Mini S. Tool selection is the open question, and the next few field notes will cover what I test and what makes the cut.
